A limited edition silk scarf printed from an original oil painting by contemporary artist Dasha Bough. Featuring an illustration of a character from Bough’s in-production animated series, a market fish vendor from the Icarian State sews a necklace of pearls and silvery fish. The style of the piece pulls from two clashing worlds: the lush, flowing Ballets Russes look of Léon Bakst, mixed with the hard-edged, worker-driven Constructivism of Liubov Popova, Aleksandra Ekster, and Vladimir Tatlin.
Edition size of 10, each scarf is numbered and produced immediately after your order is placed. Printed on high-quality silk with hand-rolled edges. Part of an ongoing film and animation project by Dasha Bough.
